One of the Ten Stonehearts of the Strategic Investment Department of the Interastral Peace Corporation. As the Stoneheart in possession of the "aventurine of strategems", Aventurine is infamous for his cunning and outrageous gambles, cultivating "friends" and wagers wherever he goes. He sees life as a high-stakes gamble itself, and doesn't bother with investments that don't pay off. On the surface, he is cunning and charming, a wordsmith with keen intellect and a reckless nature, always living a breath away from utter ruin.
Yet beyond his carefully-crafted façade is a young man bound in shackles, made both by his own hands and otherwise. As he struggles to reconcile his identity as a so-called blessed child with the harsh reality of how his good fortune has bound him, Aventurine forges ahead with the desire to live to prepare himself for when he meets his family again beneath Kakava's shimmering auroras.

ABILITIES:
As a member of the IPC's elite, Aventurine follows the path of Preservation, both in lore and in gameplay. For the purposes of RP, this primarily means he is able to shield himself and allies from taking damage, though he can also attack and debuff enemies through the Imaginary element with dice and poker chips. As a support unit focused on defense, he's rather sturdy, even if his damage output isn't the highest.
Aventurine also possesses one of the Strategic Investment Department's Cornerstones, and when used at its full power, the Cornerstone can grant the user abilities on the level of an Emanator, the most powerful followers of an Aeon's given path. The only time we see Aventurine use his is when his Stoneheart is already shattered into pieces, and it still makes him quite formidable, requiring the strength of another Emanator to stop him.
Also, while not a strictly superhuman ability, Aventurine's luck is supremely high, though the wagers he wins don't always unfold with the consequences he wants.
